Work Programme 2018-2020 on Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing under SPIRE calls particularly encourages international cooperation with Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus).
The second round of SPIRE calls open on the 16 October 2018 with a deadline on the 21 February 2019. They include:
CE-SPIRE-04-2019: Efficient integrated downstream processes (IA)
CE-SPIRE-05-2019: Adaptation to variable feedstock through retrofitting (IA 50%)
DT-SPIRE-06-2019: Digital technologies for improved performance in cognitive production plants (IA)
