A. V. Lykov Institute of Heat and Mass of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
The Institute is the largest in the country research institution dedicated to solving fundamental and applied problems of heat and mass transfer, fluid and gas dynamics, energy, heat tech, chemical physics, physics of combustion and explosion, nanotechnology, and the creation of energy efficient and environmentally friendly technologies and equipment, apparatus and instruments for energy and engineering, agriculture and the construction industry, medicine, chemical, electronics, radio engineering, food industry, space industry.
B. I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
The Institute is focusing on fundamental and applied aspects of laser physics, nonlinear optics and laser spectroscopy.
Belarusian State University is a national educational research and production complex, which consists of 26 educational institutions, including 16 Faculties, High School and College, 4 Research Institutes, 9 Research Centers, 41 Research Laboratory, 11 Experimental Plants, 176 Departments, 3 Educational and Experimental Stations, 3 Museums.
Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics is a leading educational, research and innovation complex since 1963. Currently it includs 1 Institute of Information Technologies and 10 Faculties consisting of 40 Departments. The total teaching staff is about 600 Professors and Associate Professors. The research activity is organized and performed by more than 300 scientists working in 2 Interuniversity Centers 25 Research laboratories covering hot research and development topics in modern micro- and nanoelectronics, nanotechnologies, computer science and programming, information security and protection, telecommunications and radioelectronics, computer aid design and automatic control, economics and management.
Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry was established in 1974. The staff is over 300 employees, including 18 PhDs (1 academician, 3 assossiates) and 57 PhD. The employees of the institute have 3 Government Awards: in 1988, 1996 and 2004.
Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
The scientific profile of the Institute includes fundamental and applied research in the field of chemistry and physical chemistry of polymers, physical chemistry of ion exchange and extraction processes, organic synthesis of functionally substituted heterocyclic, aromatic and aliphatic compounds, microbiological synthesis of biologically active compounds, fibrous catalysts for various purposes. The research and development activity is focused on technologies for production and use of new polymer materials, drugs and biologically active substances for medicine and agriculture.
Institute of Powder Metallurgy of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
State Scientific Institution "Institute of Powder Metallurgy" (SSI IPM) is a member of the State Scientific and Production Association of Powder Metallurgy (SSPAPM), which is a part of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Physico-Technical Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
The research and development activity in the Institute deals with cross-wedge rolling, laser systems, technology of nickel-free iron and economically alloyed steels, precious metals, aluminum-graphite materials, components and semi-finished products made of them; armor materials and protective covers, cutting instruments, diagnostics of vessels; vacuum and electroplating, recovery of diamonds, small aircraft systems.
